Being at a desk for 10 hours can lead to serious health and weight problems. In addition to the sedentary lifestyle, there are cravings, lack of exercise, poor posture and sleep. It is obvious that such a job would be stressful and harmful.

Unless you are willing to become more active in your work, you will have to look for activities elsewhere. The good thing is that you do not need much, just a little extra will.

Work Office Desk

Give priority to 30 minutes of exercise: I do not know what to do or what changes to implement, but you have to give priority to 30 minutes of exercise 5 days a week. If you have to download gossip or social networks, do it, your health is much more important. And if you can not skip your Netflix chapters, exercise while watching TV.

Take the stairs: I know that nobody wants to use the stairs, but if you are a few kilos to reach your perfect size, it would be good to skip the elevator. And if you spend all day sitting, you could use a little toning your bubbles.

Say goodbye to the machine: Turn your desk into a vending machine with healthy snacks. Instead of buying coffee and some cookies, buy almonds, apples, and nuts to have something to peck at if you get hungry in the office.

Take water: Minimum should take 2 liters of water a day. If you keep a bottle of water on your desk, you will always have a source of energy at your fingertips. This not only prevents dehydration, but also fatigue, hunger and cravings. And as a plus, you’ll want to go to the bathroom, so you’ll get up from that desk and activate your legs.

Protein Snacks: When you have a craving, combine a little fruit with protein. This not only helps you strengthen muscle, but also slows down digestion so it will leave you satiated for much longer. This protein can be: nuts, peanut butter or even a boiled egg.

Bring a lunch: Although walking towards the machine is good, these chips bring more calories than your body needs. Instead of buying, pack something that makes you feel good and fill you up enough.

Stand in front of your desk: There is research showing that you only burn nine calories an hour when standing rather than sitting down, but it should also be noted that standing improves blood sugar levels, which is great for your health (and weight).
